Jason Harris – Director
Jason began his career in 1986 within an investment & development agency. In 1991 he joined First Urban, a company formed to capitalise and focus on both the investment and development markets.
Within a short period of time the Group built up a substantial portfolio of investment properties let to quality covenants on long-term occupational leases. This portfolio was subsequently sold in 1994 as part of a corporate transaction to Newport Holdings. The focus within the Group then switched to focus primarily on development and planning opportunities and Jason was appointed Acquisitions Director. The business rapidly grew, with the Group carrying out numerous transactions in the A3/Leisure & Roadside sectors. Key to this were the strong working relationships Jason forged with pub and restaurant operators, as well as the likes of HSS, Pirelli and Texaco.
During this period, Jason also oversaw a Joint Venture with the United Bank of Kuwait which resulted in a number of successful development and investment transactions.
First Urban has continued to grow with Jason heading up acquisitions, forming strategic partnerships and overseeing the Group’s continued acquisition of sites throughout the UK – all which are now in the feasibility, planning and development pipeline.
Jason’s focus remains on the Group’s core principals of “adding value” and he continues to build on the successful track record established at First Urban for over 25 years.
